The hotel was built in 1970 and completely renovated in 1995. It has 10 storeys with a total of 341 rooms of which 34 are singles and 307 are doubles. Guests are offered a large, peaceful garden with a sun terrace, a spacious lobby with lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. Furthermore there is a games room, a TV room, a café, a cosy bar, a pub, an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and children's highchairs available on request. A conference room and Internet access are available for business guests. Room and laundry services are at guests' disposal and there is a doctor on call. The hotel also features a bicycle storage facility and rental as well as parking facilities. Younger guests may let off steam in the kids club or the play area.
