"Tranquility and Quality"
My partner and I stayed here for a week and found exactly what we wanted. The hotel has recently become part of the Guadalpin group and there are some good "relaunch" offers available. We booked a Grand Comfort Double Room which was a really good size with seating area and large terrace complete with a Lemon Tree. Robes and Slippers are provided together with attentive maid service (beds turned down on an evening, chocy on the bed etc). I understand they are in the process of a refurbishment program and parts of the room showed its age with the odd cracked tile etc. This did not distract from the overall comfort levels though. The hotel has a quiet ambience complimented by running water and fountains everywhere, a welcome change from the crazy coastline. The Breakfast Buffet is impressive, especially the extensive selection of Fresh Fruit, Omelettes cooked to order and (a first for a Spanish Hotel) HOT Coffee. We booked B&B and ate at local restaurants as the three at Byblos are expensive. Having said that ,we decided to eat at their gourmet restaurant, La Naihlac, on the last night and thought it was worth every penny. The meal came to approx 140 Euros with wine but turned out to be a real dining experience with an haute cuisine showcase of dishes and unexpected supplements. (You know it aint gonna be cheap when presented with a "water list "as you sit down!) For us it was the highlight of the stay. In conclusion, an excellent hotel, ideal for a romantic getaway and golfers. Just remember you are secluded from any amenities so a car is essential.

Charming,friendly,relaxed. Hotel staff very helpful,food good,great golf,wonderful views. only problem is that it is too close to Fuengirola
