"So good we've booked again"
Having avoided the Spanish Islands for over 17 years, My wife finally convinced me to go to Tenerife and a friend recommended The Hotel H10 Gran Tinerfe, I wish I'd have taken their advice 17 years before, the Island is fantastic with wonderful friendly people and the Hotel exceeded my expectations , Clean rooms with wonderful views, Friendly helpful staff who go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one, The food was great and with such a choice if you go hungry it's your own fault. the live entertainment in the evenings was enjoyable and the resident band were Great. daytime activities were fun although not particularly well attended which made it easier for me to win H10 tee shirts for Archery and Sharpshooting, altogether we had a Fantastic Holiday so much so we are going back in April for another two weeks. Hotel Gran Tinerfe get top marks for us we shall become regulars..

"Enjoyable"
The Gran Tinerfe is an good hotel, and although it looks dated from the outside, the interior of the hotel is good.
The room we had was good, modern and spacious.
We went half board and although I was a little sceptical, I must admit that the food was excellent. Both breakfast and evening meal were buffet style but extremely good variety of hot and cold dishes.
Although we did not go full board, we did notice that the lunches were served in the terrace restuarant and looked excellent as well.
So why did I give it a 4 and not a 5 you ask ??..........well although the location of the hotel meant it wasn't that much of a walk to bars, we tended to stay in the hotel in the evenings and the standard of the evening entertainment fluctuated. We had the same act on 3 times who were average at best but there were a couple of good holiday type acts which we enjoyed.
The entertainment did seem to cater more for more mature tourists, ballroom type dancing most nights after the acts had finished.
