"Loved the Las Palmeras"
After reading the bad reviews before my friend and I went to the Las Palmeras I was very nervous but was pleasantly surprised. After having been to Tenerife many times I knew where the hotel was so I booked a room with a seaview, this view was great had many a pleasant hour sitting on the balcony. It is the quietest hotel/apartment I have ever stayed in as the corridors to the rooms were carpeted. No complaints about the cleaners, plenty of clean towels and the reception staff were very pleasant. The restaurant was very good we liked the food and their was plenty of choice. The gardens were lovely. The hotel was pretty central for shops and bars. Suggest anyone to try the theatre it is class and we saw a modern Romeo and Juliet done in flamenco style. We would definitely stay there again.

"Las Palmeras was fantastic."
OMG! just returned from a weeks holiday at Las Palmeras with my mother.
I have to say it's left me really wanting to go back.
On arrival our luggage was taken from us and sent up to our rooms, which was lovely. 2 meals were waiting for us when we went downstairs which I was quite surpised and pleased at.
Hotel room was amazing. We were on floor 8 and had a wonderful view of the pools and the sea. Spent a lot of time just lazing on the balcony and savouring the sun, which we dont get a lot of in wales!
Food was excellent, and there was always loads of it. The staff were very good, always polite, friendly and willing to listen to your queries.
The hotel has an internet and games corner. This was very useful as I could contact friends and browze websites as often as I liked. There is a small fee for using the computers though.
My only real critisism is that there were many spanish, french and german tourists there. When you needed to ask questions it was hard to understand them. I only speak welsh and english myself so that was a real blow. Luckily, most of the staff there understood some english, so we got by.
Overall, I would say a very high 4*. We are definitely going back there come the summer. I have a lot of persuading to do!
