This hotel is ideally located for exploring the city centre on foot and is close to both Haymarket train station and the airport bus stop to allow easy accessibiility to all other destinations. This welcoming, elegant hotels offers very comfortable accomodation only 10 minutes walk form the city centre.

The hotel has bright and airy dining room featuring an original fireplace, magnificent cornicings and some fine signed, limited edition artwork by the late and popular Scottish artist McIntosh Patrick.

LOCATION

Haymarket & Buchan Hotel is perfectly located for exploring both the old town and new town. It�s within walking distance to Edinburgh magnificent Castle, the haunted history of the famous royal mile and Cowgate, Museum of Childhood and the busy night life and shopping areas.

Edinburgh has both an Old Town and a New Town to explore, the latter dating back to Georgian times. The older half of the city was built on the volcanic rock leading up to the castle, with narrow alleyways which often lead to spectacular views.
