"Great Find in Paris"
I stayed in this hotel this year and I found it to be very pleasant. Some people in my group complained that the rooms were too small, but the rooms were not smaller than the rooms in any hotel in Paris. They are all small! This is Paris. What I found great about this hotel is the location, breakfast, stuff, and decor. The hotel was refurbished 2 years ago and it has got a nice and new furniture, bedspread, linens, bathrooms, hotel lobby. I loved the breakfast that they served - it is more German than French, but I loved it because French breakfast does not give you too much food. We had hard boiled eggs, cold cuts to choose from, yogurts, coffee, breads, croissants, cheese, etc. I also liked the stuff of the hotel - they all spoke English and had better customer service than in any French hotel I stayed. They target their service to American tourists so they are used to saying "Have a nice day" etc. They hated it, but still were saying it. Not that I needed it, but it is just the observation. I thought that it was funny. You will also find an electric tea kettle and assortment of tea in your room, a nail file, soaps, shampoo, and even a shoe cleaning sponge. I loved it; small touches like this make your stay pleasant and for the price that you pay, it is definitely worth staying in a small room.

We stayed here recently and loved the hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous. They were multi-lingual and very helpful. The rooms are very clean. We will definatley stay at this hotel on our next trip to Paris.

"Great find!"
We travel to Paris frequently. Our 'usual' hotel (L'Horset, located in the same area) was booked and - more or less based on Tripadvisor feed-back - we decided to give the Helios a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort, quiet, and cleanliness as well as the range of amenities provided by this very affordable and conveniently located 3 star. True, the rooms are small. But that's Paris for you. Will definitely stay there again |
