"Perfect location - Wonderful experience" We're a couple in love with high end travel and each other. On our late September trip to Santorini, we stayed at Heliotopos because the Amex Platinum hotel wasn't available. What a lucky break! This small, quaint hotel is perfectly located. Close enough to Fira to shop and dine, but far enough that you get away from the traffic and cruise tourist crowd. Oia is beautiful (especially from your balcony), but too far from everything for more than a visit. While we're used to Four Seasons like hotels, we just loved everything about this place and are glad we stumbled on it. Fantastic views, nice people, interesting rooms and lots of nice little touches. The highlight for us was spending time with Lila. I hadn't read the trip advisor reviews before, but now it seems Lila is a highlight for everyone (except the Oct 8th woman who must have had very, very, dirty undies.) We asked Lila to have a glass of wine with us before we left and were fascinated by the story of how she started the hotel. But if you go, MAKE her tell you the story of "g stay." I still laugh out loud when I think about it.

"Exceptional Holiday" I have just checked in to 'Tripadvisor' to write and express my thanks to Lila and all the staff at The Heliotopos Hotel for the exceptional holiday my wife and I enjoyed last month. We cannot fault the Heliotopos. The owner/ manager, Lila, is charming without being too conspicuos; the sign of a discretely well run hotel. Our room was beautiful in the extreme. The atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and relaxing and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We too are experienced travellers, having stayed all over the world in the finest of hotels and I can, with all sincerity, recommend The Heliotopos Hotel if you appreciate the good things in life.

"A satay of a lifetime" We were a group of 3 couples who have travelled extensively round the world and stayed at many 5 and 7 star hotels. Heloitopos is a slice of heaven. The rooms are comfortable the views spectacular but what makes this an over the top experience is the owner, Lela. She was absolutely fantastic! Not only did she know the places to eat and the restaurants to visit , but she did it with a lot of warmth and love. She planned our daily activities and on a couple of occassions even dropped us to some of the restaurants in her own car! The best meal we had was at Restaurant Archipelago and as we had wine and a host of appeizers as we watches the sunset and the cruise ships leaving is one of our most memorable meals and experience in Sanyorini. Thank you Lela ans we look forward to seeing you in SF or Santorini

"More Than Exceded Our Expectations" We were the very last guests of the 2005 seasons at the Hotel Heliotopos, in Imerovigli. We had booked a studio, but because they had a suite available, they upgraded us to a suite. The owner, Lila, the reception staff and the cooks were so very kind and gracious. Actually, near the end of our stay we felt more like family than tourists. Lila, a retired Olympia Airlines trainer, is also an artist, so her eye for beauty is everywhere in the hotel. She has trained her staff very well to think of the guests' needs. Imerovigli is quiet and peaceful -- a relief from the days when tourist ships arrive in Fira -- yet an easy walk to Fira. We heard of Heliotopos from family friends and we are now recommending it to all of our friends.

"Our Dream Wedding" In 2000 my boyfriend and I worked in Santorini for three months. When we got engaged in 2004 we couldn't think of a better place to get married. We flew out to Santorini to look at various venues and meet various wedding co-ordinators. From the minute we got out of the car and saw the Heliotopos we knew that this was the perfect venue. The view was positively breathtaking and the hotel simply gorgeous and then we met Lila. She made us feel so relaxed, was so friendly and under no pressure whatsoever to hold our wedding here, unlike other co-ordinators we met. Over the year we kept in touch with Lila and her assistant Romilly who guided us through every detail of our day. When we arrived for our wedding we could not have been made to feel more welcome, our room was stunning a bottle of wine and fruit awaited us together with fluffy robes and slippers. The wedding day came and everything was absolutely perfect, the staff were great and our wedding went without a hitch. We had 20 guests who loved every minute of it and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The food was amazing, served in the cave and followed by Greek dancers. Our wedding cake was gorgeous, photos perfect and we came home with a brilliant DVD of the whole service. The following morning our fabulous breakfast was delieverd to our room by two of the Heliotopos staff and we sat on our balcony enjoying the stunning views. We did have a few problems obtaining our Marriage Certificate but this was the fault of the Town Hall and nothing to do with the Heliotopos. Lila and Romilly made sure this was dealt with and after all when you choose to get married in Greece you have to accept that their pace is not like ours! We could not have choosen a more beautiful place to get married and cannot fault our stay at the Heliotopos or the service we received from the staff there.

"A paradise far away from home. Loved it!!!!!" From the moment My friends and I arrived I knew that we had picked the wright place. I have never been greeted with such a warm welcome in any place I have ever stayed, the staff is most helpful in every way possible. When I walked into the room is was a little Greek house on the edge of a cliff with breath taking views as we cracked our bottle ok Nikotori wine and watched the sun set into the Ocean is was like a picture perfect moment. I was reffered here by a friend and she set nothing but the highest standards in my head which were all met. If you are getting married which I was not, I would have to say do even think twice this is the palce for you. The location is perfectly set between two great towns and the best resturants I ate at in my whole two weeks in Greece. I would return in a heart beat, happy planning.
