A real treat!
This is a very friendly small hotel. Perfect for people who want to discover Athens, it is situated right in the old towncenter and very close to the metro.Newly renovated rooms and bathrooms made our stay a real treat. We had a nice terrace to relax on. Staff was wery helpful, they also had a good breakfast selection to get us ready for discovery walks.
We will certainly return. |

"Hermes was great!"
We stayed at the Hermes Hotel in the Plaka area - good location and super modern medium priced hotel. Took the airport bus in to town on Dec 26th - too full to breathe. Went comfortably back to airport on Dec 31. The hotel is a 3 block walk from the Syntagma Square end station.

"Excellent Location"
Hermes hotel is in a fantastic location, the Acropolis is just a 5 minute walk away and the shopping area and main square also only 5 minute walk. The rooms were clean and well furnished and the decor was modern. Breakfast was always fresh even if we got down a bit late. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with all our enquiries. Athens was a fabulous city and if we return, we'll certainly be using this hotel again.

"Great Short Break!"
Booked hotel through airline. Did research many hotels through trip advisor, and chose this because of the reviews and to be honest I was even more pleased when I arrived. Went with Mother in Law for a long weekend from UK and it was absolutely perfect. Rooms very clean, quiet, and a great breakfast. The concierge was very helpful is helping us make our decisions on island hopping. It's a great location, and I would certainly go back if staying back in Athens.

The Hermes is in a great location,close to all the highlights of Athens. The room was small but clean and tidy. Breakfast was ample with all the basics on offer and the service was friendly and helpful. |

The hotel's location was excellent- easy walking to any sights and close to plenty of restaurants. The room was quite small, bathroom was small too but nonetheless clean and tidy. There were no extra niceties such as shampoo or tissues etc. Breakfast was satisfactory:cereals, eggs, breads etc; the service was fiendly and hospitable. |

"Heavenly Holiday at Hermes!"
Had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights before a cruise of the Islands and loved it. Great location, w/in walking to the Acropolis and many cute tavernas and shops. Great prices also and friendly staff. Rooms are boutique-style with private balconies and plush red-velvet chaise-lounges, bathrooms are private all marble, naturally with great supply of towels. Elevator is a one-person-but what do you expect-it's Greece! Breakfast incl'd in rate. Very fond memories and will come back to Hermes next time I am in Athens! TOP NOTCH!
