This hotel lies in approximately 178 hectares of natural parkland featuring forests, meadows, ponds and a golf course. Access to this unique scenery can be had by taking the M40 motorway that can be reached in just 15 minutes. The centre of Oxford is about 30 minutes drive away.

This rural golfing hotel is housed in two historical buildings that date back to the 18th century that have been lovingly restored and modernised (2001). The 3-floor main building comprises 14 traditional suites and a 3-floor annexe block contains a further 270 guestrooms. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a cloakroom. In addition, there is a conference room, a hairdresser's salon, a ball room and a playroom available to guests as well as a cafe, a bar and an a la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants. Room and laundry services are on offer, as is a public Internet terminal and there is a playground outside the hotel. A car park and garage facilities can be taken advantage of.
