Hotel Information

The hotel offers a total of 318 guestrooms spread over 6 floors, of which 36 are singles and 282 doubles. Guests are offered a sheltered garden and pool area with a sun terrace, a large lobby with lifts, 24-hour reception desk, safes and currency exchange facilities. In addition, the hotel has a TV room, a reading room, a hairdresser's salon, a café, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and highchairs available for small children. In-house Internet access (fees apply), medical assistance, bicycle hire and storage are also available. Younger guests may enjoy letting off steam in the playground.

The swimming pool opens from 15th May (depending on the weather).

"Lancaster holiday"
The Hotel was good except for the food, but we found a bar/restaurant just 2 streets away called Rocky,s and this made our holiday. The staff were friendly the food great and they couldn't have been more helpful. It is on the same street as the two huge Beer Kellers across from the Rui Bali. The lancaster is a good base for a holiday but I wouldn't go all inclusive as you are kind of stuck there. The rooms are a bit small but we didn't spend too much time there. I had read reviews before we went and was a bit worried but I think the fact that it is a mainly german resort worried me but I shouldn't have as we had a great time. Plenty to do and lovely places to see round about. Easy travel into Palma etc. If you are planning a trip to Playa de Palma or El Arenal please go to Rocky's and say hello to Joe and James they will help to make your holiday and their bar is the cleanest and nicest I have been in and as I said the food is terrific and reasonable priced. We spent nearly every day there once we had discovered it.

"Great Time Had at Hotel Lancaster"
Regardless of all the adverse comments we have read on the Hotel Lancaster, we have just spent a very enjoyable 5 days there. The hotel was spotless and the staff were constantly cleaning the tables outside by the pool area so there was never any rubbish laying around. The food selection and preparation was excellent with a fantastic choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Being out of season the evenings entertainment was not as we are sure it would be in-season. However, the three shows that we saw whilst there were excellent and very enjoyable. The Hotel is situation just a short walk from the beach but is far enough away that you are not bothered with noise in the evening from the many bars and clubs by the beach. The staff were on hand if needed but did not bother you, especially in the dining room. This made the dining experiences very relaxed and un-hurried. We cannot understand why so many people have complained about the hotel. All we can think is that these people who have moaned about it are paying for staying in a 3 star hotel but want all the luxuries and amenities of a 5 star !!!!! We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to those people who pay for a 3 star and expect no more........
