The red brick exterior blends seamlessly with the family homes and gardens of this residential street. Since the departure of RMS Titanic from the White Star Line dock on 10th April 1912, Southampton will always be linked with the ill-fated liner. This accommodation was once owned by local businessman Henry Hodges who had bought first-class passage and perished, his being one of the few bodies to ever be retrieved.
