"excellent" I have just returned from this hotel the rooms were comfortable the food good but the service was excellent. Both bar and restaurant staff could not have done more for us. I would recommend this hotel.

"Excellent for weekend breaks" Having read some of the reviews about this hotel we were quite concerned. On arrival we were met by a very helpful receptionist who booked us in to our ground floor rooms without delay. The rooms have been refurbished and everything was clean and working. Bathroom OK but the towels could do with an upgrade. The restaurant consisted of the usual Hilton carvery, but the staff here were excellent and attentive.Very friendly without being overbearing. Although we were only staying two nights, they took the trouble to remember your name which was very pleasant. Plenty to do in the area, we chose to carry on down the M3 to the New Forest. On the night we dined out we went one junction down the motorway to the Queens Inn in Dummer, who looked afer us very well.
