"Good location, good service"
We - 6 friends - stayed here at 3 twin bed rooms for a very short city trip. As Hilton GoldVIP 4 of us stayed at 2 decent twin bed rooms at the Executive Level, with the Executive Lounge open till 11pm. Even tough we booked non-smoking rooms we were put in smoking rooms which wasn't too bad. The 3rd regular room had the same amenities as those on the Exec. Level, just no access to it. The hotel is located at the largest shopping mall in Europe with direct access, next to the West End train station. Hotel is 30mins. away from the airport, metro station at the train station. Breakfast was ok, warm and cold buffet. Room itself was ok for a people travelling without large suitcase. We had to look for the inroom safe, which was located underneath the desk. Bathroom has separate shower and bathtube, shower head was a bit broken, my bath tower had black stains. Service staff, starting from check in, concierge and breakfast room were helpful and nice. Helpful concierge.

What a great place to stay and the service is next to none. I have done plenty of travelling in my time and have stayed at many hotels.
Hilton Budapest WestEnd has honestly been my most enjoyable hotel. The service was 100% at all times. From the moment we arrived until we departed we were treated extremely well and all staff were happy and helpful at all times.
Food was very impreessive and I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Great experience.

"Wow, Fantastic"
Wow, What a hotel!!
A brand new development within a short walking distance to the Danube and tourist attractions. The hotel is very modern and well designed, the bedrooms are spacious, especially the bathrooms, they have a walk in shower as well as bath tub. Food was also fantastic. The hotel is connected to the largest shopping mall in Eastern Europe. All the staff were extremely helpful. I would definetely recommend this hotel for any stay in Budapest. Also for a little extra the view from the executive lounge are amazing!

"Very short stay... but excellent"
This really a semi-review, as we stayed in the Hilton Bubapest only for a few hours!
We were flying from Greece to Croatia for a wedding and had an 8-hour (!!) stopover in Budapest, so we decided to book into the Budapest West End Hilton for a few hours in order to get some sleep and freshen up. We had 2 days of partying ahead of us so we needed the rest!
The hotel is approx. 45 minuted from the airport, right in the center of Budapest. Unfortunatey it is not on the river and has no views like the Intercontinental or Marriot.
Checkin was flawless, and as I am a Diamond HHonors member we were upgraded to an executive room and had access to the -small but adequate- executive lounge.
The room was excellent and spotless. The bathroom was also excellent, with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries.
No complaints whatsoever, I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. Budapest is a wonderful city!

Great service, friendly staff and new feeling!"
Short: It was a great stay. The location of the hotel is very good, next to the Western Train station (which should be connected to the Airport as of this winter!!!), easy access to all parts of town via tram, metro, bus and foot.
Simply love the new, fresh design, especially having stayed in a few other properties in town (i.e Marriott, Interconti or Hilton in the castle).
Staff are great: friendly, young and nothing was too much. The concierge helped me around the city and the service in their Zita Cafe was fabulous! Try the Greek salad - it's amazing.
I can definitely recoomend this place for your next visit!

"Great place to stay in Budapest"
My wife and I stayed at the Budapest Hilton West End for a long weekend for the first time. May not be as architecturally inspiring as the Gresham but is an excellent hotel in a good location.
Because of our status we were upgraded to the Executive floor and Barbara the lounge manager was waiting for us as we stepped out of the elevator to greet us. She was very helpful and immediatley booked us in at a local Hungarian restaurant in the Old Town. The lounge is one of the better ones I have come across and there was always a plentiful supply of drinks and food. There is also a nice terrace where you can sit outside and watch the sun set with a glass in your hand.
The rooms are of a good size and well equipped. There's the usual towelling robes and complimentary water and chocolates. The bathroom is large with a separate tub and shower.

"Just great"
Most, if not all of the reviews of this hotel, were favourable and in truth I just cannot understand how anyone can find anything to complain about here. We stayed for 3 nights in mid July with friends. The check in satff were helpful and friendly and noted that we had asked fro 2 non smoking rooms. This was a slight problem as the hotel's standard rooms were quite full. Their soluition was to give us a free upgarde on one room to a Junior Suite. Although this was tremendous having seen the standard room I would have been delighted with that. When walking through the hotel every member of staff, without exception, had a ready smile and friendly greeting. Having travelled quite extensively I can tell you that this type of behaviour is far from the norm. They had a great buffet brekafast that set us up for the day and also had an offer of a 2 for the price of 1 dinner and would advise everyone to take up this offer. Without a doubt the next time we visit Budapest it will almost certaiunly be to stay in the Hilton West End. To add to the feeling of great service throughtout our stay, on the day after we returned I received an e mail from the Commercial manager thanking me for completing the questionairre on our experience.
Top class service all round.
