Not all bad Stayed at Hilton Sharks Bay for two weeks in July 2008. I won`t be visiting again. It`s not all bad though, so I`ll start with the positives: * The rooms are nice, and kept tidy and clean. The cleaning staff are friendly and are thorough in their work * The gardeners do their best at keeping everything nice and tidy. I would say they`re doing a great job, actually, considering this is really a desert * The beach is nice, and the Red Sea is a fantastic place to snorkel and dive! * The drinks you get "for free", though you`ve obviously payed for an All Inclusive, are ok if you like dispenser soft-drinks and low-alcohol local beer that tastes like water. And the drinks are cold, though. well done. That ends the positives-section. Now to what makes this hotel so special, and an experience you won`t forget anytime soon: * The "food". Uneatable. Unbeatable. The worst I`ve ever had. I couldn`t cook this bad if I tried. Not cooked properly and will make you sick. Thats a promise The hotel receptionists will try their best to look surprised when you tell them you need medicine against whatever it is you`ve caught from their "resturants", until they remember they have 560 boxes of it in their top drawer. How surprising A visit to the hotel doctor, who is on call 24 hr/d, is a great way to meet fellow residents with the exact same illness as you have now aquired. * The "restaurants". Filthy. Bad service. Standing in line like schoolchildren waiting for some moron to to fry 10 chickenwings. And getting 1 after waiting for 10 minutes. The funny part of this thogh, is the moment you recognise the "chef". He was watering the grass in the early hours the same day, and did a lot better in the garden than in the kitchen I could go on all day about the absolute horrible food, but I guess I`ve made myself clear: If you like sitting in your clean room, on your clean toilet all day: Come to Hilton Sharks Bay! If not stay away! By the way: the public toilets are dirty and stink like hell How this hotel has not been closed down due to poisoning its residents is beyond me. 2.6

"Great Hotel!" Hilton Sharks Bay Hotel, This is the second time that we have stayed at this Hotel the first time was in January 2006 for 1 week, And now in August we are back for 2 weeks, As soon as we left the airport and got on the transit coach i knew that we had chosen the right resort yet again, then as we turned into the long drive with palm trees lit up either side of you, looking straight ahead you see this well positioned Hilton Hotel front, and the word Hilton beaming down on you, from that moment of stepping down from the bus we could not believe the excitement that was all around us, the walk through the security checking point and then to reception, the first words we heard were welcome back to your second home Sir Madam, from that moment in time we never lifted a finger everything was done for you, and i mean everything. because we had been before everybody rembered us and could not do enough to welcome my family back. We were allocated the same suites as we had before so we knew what to expect, on entering the room the fridge was full of soft drinks water and beer plus a bowl of fruit and the towels had been layed out on the bed in the shape of ducks, what a welcome back. The following morning we arive in the restaurant for breakfast only to be greeted by the same staff that were there in January, Where we where shown to our table, we could not wait to see the exotic range of food that was available for every nationality that had the privelage to stay at the Hilton Sharks Bay resort, food content and quality outstanding yet again. from then we go to the beech our towles all ready having been put on our beds ready for for the day, the Sunset bar is only 10 yds away were you can have any type of soft drink that you require free of charge, or if you fancy an Ice Cream or sandwich just ask the Chief and he will make it for you, fresh. After a very tiring day it is then back to the room to get ready for your evening meal, on entering the restaurant your eyes are firmly fixed on the variation of differant types of food that is available for you to sample at your leisure, all i can say about the food and the presentation is out of this world, and again each member of staff is there to do everything for you and nothing is to much trouble. The night life is also good at the Sharks Bay there is a mixture of things to do nightly, you will not get board that i can promise you. We were so glad that this time we had come for 2 weeks the weather was 40 to 44 dgs every day fantastic, what a tan. I could go on to say, that this would be the nearest place to heaven that i would ever get to, so much so that we are comming back for a third visit for Christmas and the New Year for 2 weeks, we just cant wait to get back to our second home. We highly reccomend the Hilton Sharks Bay to all from the young to the old ,you will have the experience of a lifetime in a secure friendly clean and very well run complex, a mention for our tour guide Rabbie from The Holiday Place (Our tour operator) he was fantastic and very helpfull in every way, again nothing was to much trouble, fantastic guy, it just leaves me to say you will never ever forget your stay at the beautifull spotless and well run Family hotel on the island of Sharm El Sheikh and you will never be able to forget your stay at the Hilton Sharks Bay resort. In our opinion this should be a minimum 5 star, or even a 6 if that would be at all possible. Well done all at the Hilton Sharks Bay We thank you from the bottom of our hearts see you on the 21st December for 2 weeks and also to bring in the NEW YEAR.
