"Wonderful city - wonderful hotel" This hotel makes a great base for enjoying a few days in this wonderful city. The location means it is easily accessible - in between two Underground stations (Schottenring and Schottentor); and at the same time it is a comfortable and short walk to some of the city's main attractions and shopping areas (inc. Mariahilferstrasse). The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional - and standards are consistently high throughout. The buffet breakfast is excellent - and the dinner menu (sampled on a quiet weekend evg.) was above average in quality and presentation. The hotel has extensive meeting rooms, and caters for a lot of corporate events, but leisure guests still feel very welcome.

"Beautiful Hotel & Jewel of Vienna" My husband and I stayed here in the middle of December. It was beautiful! The room was spacious and had an amazing view of downtown historic vienna. The hotel itself is in a very old historic building that is exquisite. only a 10min walk to all the museums and hooffsburg palace. Its an amazing deal for the price. The bathrooms were very clean and ornate with marble bath tubs as well. And for the ladies out there they have Crab tree & Evelyn hair care products int he room for you to use... yay!

"Wonderful staff and rooms!" We spent seven nights at the Hilton Vienna Plaza and truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were tastefully decorated,clean, and spacious. From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely helpful. They had knowledge of the tram and bus routes, as well as tickets available in the lobby for the transit systems. They were able to obtain tickets for several events, as well as make suggestions for sites out of the ring. The tram was easily accessable, and we learned our around Vienna quickly. I would highly recommend the Hilton and it's wonderful staff.

"Beautiful city - great hotel!" Great hotel and wonderful for Americans in Vienna. Great location with the BIN stop right out front. Minutes from the Opera, Ratsplatz, Hofburg. I'm a huge Hilton Hotel fan, and we used points for our stay. We also used the Business Center for the free breakfast and internet access

"Wonderful hotel" I'm surprised at the lackluster reviews given this hotel. Our own experience was very positive. I think the key here might be to book a "deluxe" room (at about $20 more per night, if I recall correctly). Our room was elegant, reasonably spacious, and quiet. This is the best of the three Hilton properties in Vienna and comparable to the pricier Marriott.
