Hirsch Hotel is a hotel built in the art deco style in the heart of the picturesque German Alpine town of Fussen. This traditional, family owned hotel has 54 individually decorated rooms. It also features two restaurants, which serves both regional and International cuisine, a bar, terrace and function rooms.
The rooms are very large comfortable. They mainly have a brown and green colour scheme, with heavy wooden furnishings. The rooms are in very good condition, whilst the bathrooms are in good condition.
The restaurant and separate bar are to be found off from the main hallway, and are decorated and furnished in typical Bavarian style with heavy wood furniture and subdued lighting. The lobby is a bit small but a cozy one with the reception area off to the side. However, the entrance hall leads on to a larger area around the broad staircase. |

Hirsch Hotel is situated in the heart of Fuessen, in the pedestrian zone, Hirsch Hotel is a five minute walk from the railway station.
The hotel is 20 kilometre away from Wies Church, one of the most famous Rokoko churches.

"Wonderful Hotel"
My husband and I recently completed a whirlwind tour of Europe and stayed at 16 different hotels over the course of a month. The Hirsch was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. We stayed at the Hirsch last week for two days and afterward agreed that we should have stayed longer. The day we checked in, we arrived early in the day and the front desk gave us a choice of a number of very nice rooms. We chose a charming larger room that had a rather small bathroom, but also had a lovely little alcove that had windows overlooking the square. The room was nicely decorated and was sparkling clean. All the staff we dealt with were warm and attentive. The restaurant was also wonderful and was decorated in Bavarian style. While not a luxury hotel, the Hirsch is a complete joy for those who have high standards for comfort, service, and aesthetics, but don't mind carrying their own bags and doing without room service and a swimming pool. Very highly recommended.
