"Perfectly acceptable"
I stayed here for one night while awaiting a flight. It was free as I had accumulated enough reward points. I waited about 20 mins for a free shuttle bus and checked in painlessly. The room was pretty generic but had a decent bed, tv and minibar. Info given by reception about morning buses was accurate and I had a quiet and restful night. Did the job as I was refreshed for my flight the next day.

"Convenient and Friendly"
When I visit Brussels I tend to stay at this hotel because of its location within ten minutes of the airport, fifteen (taxi) minutes from town and convenient for all the offices and companies based around Diegem. It is a fairly standard Holiday Inn - rather formulaic - but has several distinct advantages...firstly it has a very pleasant little beer bar in the foyer that offers many of the Belgian specialist beers, secondly it has a health club with gym facilities, a pool and a sauna and steam room and thirdly it has the most pleasant reception staff. THis latter benefit does not extend into the gym facilities where I found the attendants to be rather surly and monosyllabic on this most recent visit. One thing to look out for when making a reservation is to try to reserve a room within easy walking distance of the lobby. Because of the layout of the hotel there is always a chance that you might be billeted a route-march away - as I was on this most recent occasion. I am afraid I have no comment to make on the catering facilities (other than the bar) as I have never used them. I get the feeling that the hotel is much used for business meetings and conferences as the lobby is often full of business execs trying to look focused and alert first thing in the morning after a night sampling the moules, frites and bieres available downtown. On this visit I felt that the health club area was looking a little dowdy and might benefit from a re-fitting and a lick of paint. The male changing room is very functional and a little cramped too. A very useful and convenient hotel that I will continue to use when working in Brussels.

"Loved the pool"
Have stayed in a couple of hotels at Brussels Airport. I like the Holiday inn for its cosy atmosphere and good staff. Also large and spacious rooms and great fitness facilities, large pool for a hotel. Service is friendly.

"Service with a smile"
spent a couple of days in this hotel for a residential conference. This hotel offers a personalised friendly service with a smile. They even have a nice pool. Great free shuttle service to and from the airport ( just 5 min. drive). I simply enjoyed my stay there.

Ex-cellent
Best value hotel in Brussels. I have stayed in several hotels downtown but Holiday Inn beats em all. Free shuttle to/from the airport, and to your business in the morning if it's in the industrial park area (most are). Free breakfast is good, there is ample secure parking, and even a little bar and free lending library. But the clincher is the extraordinarily friendly staff. You don't find that downtown. Take the free shuttle to the airport and the express train downtown and it's really not much less convenient than staying down there. But far quieter! And air conditioning in summer, which is the main reason I stay out there. Zaventum has some great restaurants nearby.
