Adequate Hotel, Good Breakfast Buffet
This hotel is very close to a metro line in a part of town near the university thus it is lively with a number of inexpensive restaurants. The room was pleasant and clean, although a bit small, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a pretty good variety. We would stay again. |

"Decent hotel with unexpected advantages"
I am long looking for a good "base" in Paris for business trips. I am frequently in Paris on business and want to stay in the center, but not pay too much.
I've tried this one and must say have been pleasantly surprised based on the previous reviews. OK the hotel is not in a touristy area but this has the advantage of being cheaper than most in Paris for this quality of rooms. Furthermore, transport to center of Paris is a snap on a new metro line e.g. to Chatelet. True, there are no sights in the area, but the new Bibliotheque Francois Mitterand is close by which IMO is a must-see for fans of modern architecture.
Area is business-like, but there are cafes and restaurants in the area.
Rooms are typical Paris size, well sound-isolated and clean. BTW I read people complaining a lot on the size of rooms in Paris. IMO you come to Paris not to sit in your room so that is not such a big problem for me.
Breakfast room is small so do not expect a large buffet here. You will get all the necessities but no fancy stuff.
In general a good stay and I will be coming back.

"Convenient for Tourist Group"
This was my second stay here with students from my HS and I was pleased with the rooms, the service, and the location. Just a five minute walk to the Metro, and a little removed from the temptations of the city, we didn't have to worry a minute about the comfort or safety of our group. The staff was always helpful and cordial, and dealt well with our teens.
A big plus for the students was the breakfast buffet each morning, which allowed even the pickiest eaters to walk away full and ready for a full day of touring.

Quiet night
This hotel is somewhat older. Very quiet room, clean. Near metro. We could stall our bikes in the parking. No lively environment. Do not go to the restaurant Le Bon Plan (advised by the reception). |

good value
2 female senior citizens were guests at this hotel Apr 29 2006 for 6 nts. Rooms were ample, good breakfast, great location for both metro and bus rides. Enjoyed the safe environment and available nearby restaurants. |
