"Perfect base for shopping" Have just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel - taking advantage of Eurotunnel promotions to stock up! It is perfectly positioned just 2 minutes from the motorway, channel tunnel terminal and Cite Europe. Yet as it is set in parkland it is quiet and peaceful. According to the hotel website it has been recently refurbished and this shows in the modern appearance of the facilities. We stayed in an executive room for 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 children (in a sofa bed) but the room was more than big enough, although there were standard pillows on the beds there was also a 'menu' with several choices of pillows, which when we requested ours were supplied immediately. The hotel itself has in indoor pool (which although it says swimming shorts for men are not allowed - all men were wearing them!), sauna and steam room. We didn't try the bar, but evening meal in the restaurant could not be faulted, nor could the choice on the wine menu. There was also a Childrens menu available which was excellent value for money 8.5 euros for 3 courses. In short if you are looking for an overnight stay this place ticks all the right boxes.
