"Great gateway, nice hotel, excellent breakfast"
I spent 2 nights at this property in mid-October of 2005. I booked a double room with breakfast just one day prior to my arrival through Priority Club web page. The price was 74 EUR and I got a lot for it, maybe even more than I expected. As already mentioned the hotel is located right off the A4 Venezia-Milano highway, next to Verona East exit. The surrounding area is nothing special, but not dangerous or shabby as well. The check-in was super-fast and the clerk friendly. I was given a nice room with the view of the toll plaza - I could note traffic statistics :). The room was nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The best "amenity" was that it was completely soundproof, so although the hotel is surrounded by roads it was completely quiet in the room. The furniture is nice and practical, the single beds are wider than normally and very comfy. The only thing that bothered me was the poor selection of TV channels. There were only 14 of them, SkyNews being the only English one. What kind of Holiday Inn does not have at least CNN? Breakfast was great! The variety and the quality of items superb, the staff friendly and attentive and the breakfast room very impressive. I did not have any problems finding the hotel either coming from Verona, Lake Garda or Vicenza, but it is true I am used to confusing Italian roads and road signs:). The check-out was again very fast and friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are planning to cover a larger area than just downtown Verona

"Comfortable hotel - but get a map before you go out!"
We enjoyed our three nights at the Holiday Inn. Perhaps the best part about the stay was the breakfast - a huge buffet, which set us up for the rest of the day. The staff could not have been more helpful, particularly in the breakfast room. The room was big and comfortable, the view rather ugly (what do you expect near a motorway?), and the bathroom well furnished. We hired a car, so the hotel's location (a long way out of town) should not have been a problem. However, get a map before you go out! It is easy to find from the motorway, but getting back from Verona proved difficult. We finally cracked it on the last day! There is a shuttle bus to and from Verona, but it is not cheap.
