This charming hotel was built in 1889 as the private residence for Monsieur Santiago Drake del Castillo . The antique furniture has been completely restored.

"Short but sweet"
Stayed here for one night on business. Gem of a hotel and I only wish that i had brought the wife and made a weekend of it. Everyone really friendly. Common areas gorgeous, room old-fashioned Parisien chic but really peaceful given that it is about 100m from the Champs. Probably more of a weekend hotel than a business hotel but I'd stay there again like a shot.

"Loved the Lancaster"
Wife and I stayed 2 nights at Lancaster early May. Location is just off Champs-Elyssee below Arc de Triumph. Is a LHW hotel . We had a Jr suite that was very large and well furnished. Service was attentive. The food for breakfast and dinner was wonderful. Also had fitness room we used and enjoyed. For quiet,classical ambience in 8th Arr this is hard to beat.
