"A wonderful pre-christmas break"
I booked a christmas special package deal via the hotel's website. This included airport transfers and a meal in the hotel's restaraunt (Triton). Our flight was late but the driver was waiting for us and we had a very pleasant transfer to our hotel. Check in was smooth and efficient. The room was spacious and modern with plenty of extras - nice toiletaries and towelling robes. The mini bar was well stocked and prices weren't too bad. The one thing which lets this hotel down is the breakfast. There is plenty of choice and the food is ok but we found that no matter what time we went to the breakfast room we had to wait for hot food to be replenished. A major annoyance was that breakfast is until 10am but there was no replenishmwnt of anything other than bread after 9.30. We resorted to room service one morning just so we could have everything together! Having said this our experience of the Triton restaraunt made us forget about the breakfast fiasco. The service and the food were wonderful. They have a great selection of wines and thses are served to perfection. Well worth a visit even if you don't stay at the Adria. Its open for lunch and supper. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful at all times. and spoke good english. The hotel is well positioned right in the centre of Wenceslas square and is I feel slightly overpriced. Would I stay here again? yes but would settle for something less pricey. Would I return to Prague - Yes - in a heartbeat. Its a wonderful and enchanting city. The christmas festivities were wonderful and the mulled wine well recieved!

"Nice Hotel/Good Location"
We've just returned from a 2 night break at the Adria Hotel, we had a great time. The hotel is on Wenceslas Square, a 10 minute walk to the old town square and approx 15 mins to Charles Bridge. The hotel is alot bigger than I thought it was going to be but don't let that put you off. The room we had was huge, very clean with a nice bathroom too. You also got a pair of bathrobes!!! Breakfast was ok, the usual continental style with scramble eggs, bacon & fried potatoes too - it was certainly adaquate for our needs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone,

"old world charm"
The hotel was redecorating their main lobby, so they dressed up the bar as reception, and that worked fine. We paid 120 euro's for our room, and it was quite good. separate bedroom and sitting room, how often do you get that in this price class ? The mattresses were very comfortable. Must have been brand new, or of exceptional quality. Breakfast was included, but that wasn't much to get too excited about. very much your budget/high volume affair. It was OK but nothing more than that. As of the second day we went out and had a proper breakfast in one of Prague's many funky coffee / breakfast / lunch bars. Located smack right in the centre, so a good base for shopping or culture trips. Would I stay there again ? Yeah, probably. Still have to try their restaurant with all the spooky stalactites. I am sure there must be many more hotels in Prague in the same price-range that offer similar levels of luxury and comfort, but I do not hesitate to recommend the Adria.

"Love it"
After reading some mixed reviews for the Adria, we were not sure what to expect and were prepared for the worst. In our experience the hotel was first class - plenty of character, very comfortable, extremely clean and in a perfect location. Found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here on next visit.

"Great Hotel, fantastic location"
Taxi waiting for us at the airport all dealt with previously. best booking taxi in UK saves money and time. common sense really. probably the best located hotel in praha situated on central wencslas sq. and it was a great base. we had our room at the top of the hotel in the old loft/attic area but it was still spacious and had a great view. we used room servic and i recommend it for the cost. cost of staying at the hotel wasnt cheap but the costs there are amazing. 20p for a bottle of beer! great prices and i recommoend the castello restaurant next to the adria. overall a great holiday. better than average and some posts published by people on this site dont do the hotel justice. very good city break.

"Great hotel along with a brilliant location"
We stayed at the Adria hotel for 2 nights. Friendly and approchable staff apart from a run in I had with a member of staff when I asked them to phone a number on a card, to book us a taxi for the next day to the airport. I was advised to do it from the phone in my room as the hotel only dealt with one taxi firm (I guess this is because they get commission for guests they get to use that particular firm). The hotel bar is small but offers a wide selection of drinks, various coffees, cocktails etc. In Prague, you can eat a three course meal for a fraction of what you pay here in England. We found nightlife by Charles bridge which for us was around a 10-15 minute walk, from the hotel although there were a number of bars along our route and strip clubs. We really liked the nightclub right beside Charles bridge as it was set on a number of levels, with different types of music playing, in various areas of the club. Adria hotel, was located in close vacinity (walking distance) to everything we were looking for ie bars, clubs, shops, resturants, historic buildings etc. Shops were located all around you, as soon as you stepped out of the Adria hotel, shops including C&A, Reebok, Addidas, Debanhams, Marks & Spencers etc. There is a club a short walk from the hotel, down one of the side streets, which we visited and believe me, it was an experience. Mainly male clientel were in this club with scanteley dressed woman walking around, coming right up to you and offering a range of services. There were also pole dancers preforming. It was set out as a bar with bedrooms upstairs and down. There were 5 of us who went to Prague, including myself who was the only female in the party, (I am 30 years old). I did not have a problem with visiting this club. I got in free but beware, prices for drinks can be excessive. This club may sound sleazy but in our opinion, it wasn't, it was a real eye opener and good fun. We originally booked a double room with the Adria hotel. When we entered the room, it was not a bad size room but we did not have a view out of our window, it looked onto another building. We decided to see how much it was to upgrade to an appartment which consisted of two rooms, one room was the bedroom with a television and the other was a lounge, with a dinning room table, double sofa and an armchair plus the room had good views overlooking W Square. We relocated to the apartment room as it was inexpensive to upgrade, costing around Ł14 more per night. We were extremely happy with our short stay in Prague, based at the Adria. I would definetely return to this hotel, everything is on your doorstep. The only taxi we used during our duration in Prague was to and from the airport. GREAT HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION!

"A beatiful place!!!"
visited Prague, a month ago with my brother, my mother and a friend of mine. We stayed at Adria Hotel. The Hotel is in the city center, very close to the main square, to shops and monuments. The metro station is very close and the tram station, too. It is a very clean place, with a lot of rooms which are very cute and beatiful. The rooms are not very big but they have double or twin beds (quite big), satellite TV, big wardrobe and a wonderful and clean bathroom. The breakfast is continental type, with varity of food, but they also has some traditional foods and sweets. It has a small cafe-bar with tables outside and a piano-restaurant with delicious food. My brother loved the shoe-cleaner which is next the elevator. The only problem we had was that we lost all the time in the Hotel because it has a lot of rooms, corridor, etc. Only with the elevator you will be sure that you are going to arrive at your destination!!!!! The price of rooms is good enough. Not very cheap, but not very expensive either. We paid about 200 euros per room per night.
