PROPERTY AMENITIES
* In 2001, the hotel's new restaurant opened with a flood of good reviews from the city's toughest food critics - and the high level of quality continues. Brasserie Mühlhausen is a café, bar and brasserie created in the genuine brasserie tradition and spirit to serve the soul and senses of the guests in a relaxed atmosphere. With genuine respect for and love of the southern European culinary tradition, the hotel has crossed cultural borders to compose a menu reflecting history and new discoveries, while aintaining good regional traditions of southern. Europe. The brasserie is decorated with modern Danish furniture classics designed by Børge Mogensen and Kaare Klint, among others. Even the Akademi-chandeliers were created by the Danish master of lighting, PH (Poul Henningsen).
* Housed in a building dating from 1880, the hotel’s interior is very much of the twentieth century with original Danish design furniture as well as paintings by Danish artists.
* Free wireless Internet in public areas allows guests to keep in touch with friends and plan days out, while free coffee and newspapers are also available in the hotel lobby.

"Great location, helpful and polite staff"
This hotel is in a great location, as others have already noted. We stayed for four days July 1-5. The room did get a bit warm, and there was no air-conditioning, but there was a breeze when you opened the window. Traffic noise is loud at night if the windows are open, but it was muted if you closed both windows, although you could still hear it. If you live in a big city you probably won't be bothered by the street noise. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices, including boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, cereals, lots of bread choices, waffles and juices. Our room was plain but had a very large bed. We requested a non-smoking room and received it. The bathroom was very small. The shower is a bit bigger than a phone booth with just a shower curtain and the drain in the floor, so the bathroom gets damp. They supplied extra pillows and towels in the closet, which was nice. I was a little worried after reading some of the previous comments, but I would stay here again. The Italian restaurant (Vesuvio's) catty-corner from the hotel was good and reasonably priced with generous portions.

"Would stay here again"
This hotel is in a great location--just down the street from Tivoli, Stroget, City Square. It was hot, but we opened our windows and had no problems. If you are in Copenhagen during a hot spell and crave quiet at night, you might consider a different neighborhood because it was pretty noisy two of the three nights we stayed here. The staff was very helpful (airline had lost my suitcase) and there's an internet terminal. The restaurant has wonderful dinners and breakfast buffet was good.
