"A great base for exploring athens"
Hotel Apollo Very friendly, helpful and informative staff, speaking wide range of
languages. Clean room. Is slightly out of town centre but only 50m from
metro which is cheap, efficient and very easy to use. A great base for exploring athens, but getting away from overpriced town centre.

"Budget hotel to stay"
First time to stay at Hotel Apollo. This hotel is cleaner & better than I expect. Budget hotel to stay, with balcony and breakfast is ok. Some rooms have bath tub, some rooms have shower only. Close to subway station & Larissa train station, convenient to travel to different spots.
The guy reception in the evening is not friendly. He works in his own way, instead of working for customer. The lady in the morning is much better. |

"Great hotel!!!!"
We just returned from Athens, and had a great experience with this hotel! The reception staff was amazingly helpful, especially the day receptionist. We had a problem with a tour group that we had booked a day trip with, and the receptionist very kindly dealt with the situation with the Greek only speaking staff of the tour company. Rooms were clean, and had a great view of the Acropolis. Better service than some 5 star resorts I have stayed in.

"Great Hotel!"
Great Hotel. Ideally located close to metro and within walking distance from Omonia.
Rooms were clean and tidy and the housekeepers were amazing each day, arranging things perfectly.
Only downside is that the Hotel is on busy street, so people may find noise hard to sleep thru. I had no problem.
Try the Greek taverna behind the Hotel opposite...lovely food at a cheap price.

"Nice located"
We're a young gay couple and stayed at Apollo Hotel for 2 nights, before going to Mykonos.
The Hotel was very nice, and very well located. About 1 or 2 minutes from the Metro.
We had a room with a great view to the Acropole. There's some noise outside all night, but, tired of walking as we were, we fall asleep as we touch the bed!
We think that the breakfast was nice! A little bit of everything for every tastes.
The personal was very friendly and helpful.
A nice hotel to stay.

"Great hotel!"
Excellent view of the Acropolis from our room. Close to metro, train, supermarket, laundromat and kiosks. Internet available in lobby.
Very friendly and helpful staff - Dimitrios was wonderful, with plently of tips and advice. Can get a bit noisy as the rooms overlook a main route for morning commuters.
