"Immaculate Hotel"
This hotel exceeded expectations. Totally refurbished throughout, the rooms were large and exremely comfortable with LCD TV mounted on the wall, King sized bed and a big bathroom that was spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Only concern about the hotel was it being on the outskirts of the city centre, but its only a short bus trip to the old town square and the attractions (10mins on the number 133 bus, which stops near the hotel - can ask the hotel staff and they will even sell you the bus tickets). Great hotel, better than expected!

"Nice Hotel"
As stated by the previous reviewers, it is a recently refurbished hotel which is very clean and inviting. The beds are good and the area is quiet. Only drawbacks we found were the lack of a shower facility, as there was no hook in the bath, same for our friends also so this might be common throughout the hotel. Also the hotel bar closes at 10pm which is a bit of a dissapointment as there are no hot drink facilities in your room. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special but about typical for europe. The actual hotel is situated in Praha 3 and is in a fairly run down area. it is surrounded by three large old style communist apartment blocks, but the area is quiet and despite the initial shock is a safe area, we saw no trouble whatsoever. The 133 bus or Tram 9 is the way to travel to the centre, avoid the taxi as they are more expensive than London, thats why they are all standing round waiting for work...

"Good Hotel"
Hotel Aramis is an average Hotel. Location wise it is a bit far from the city centre, as taxi's are expensive me and my partner chose to walk, which took about 30-45 minutes. The hotel is clean, tidy, although the rooms were a bit small. Breakfast was ok, as with most european hotels a selection of sweet pastries were available. Prague however is a very beautiful city. The hotel staff were ok, not the most helpful though. Would recomend this hotel as long as long as you dont mind a walk!!

"Exceeded our expectations"
We booked a late deal for a September 2006 long weekend and were slighly apprehensive to find that the Aramis was too new to have any impartial reviews and also that it was situated further away from the centre than we would have preferred. We need not have worried; the rooms were refurbished to a high standard with everything new and very clean. If I wanted to nitpick I would complain that the bath was designed for a dwarf but that may have been just the design of our bathroom as all the rooms are slightly different. The staff were all very helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast was not exceptional but more than adequate considering the large number of cheap places to eat in Prague. We need not have worried about distance from the city centre as the excellent transport system took only about 15 minutes into the city centre with good connections to other parts. We got used to the suburb, which around the hotel was quite pleasant, and enjoyed getting out of the centre to sleep. We can thoroughly recommend The Aramis without reservation and although we packed in as much as we could in a long weekend we could easily spend much longer there.
