"Nice clean hotel, great value"
We stayed in this hotel from 2nd May to 11th May 2007. The hotel is clean and the rooms spacious. The dining area is very basic and if you are a fussy eater i wouldn't recommend staying here. The breakfast is cheese and ham or ham and cheese!!!!! if you don't like fish there is always one fish dish on an evening along with one meat dish. But we paid £10 per day per person (there was two of us) for 10 days half board so what a bargain!!! The staff are really friendly and local shops and bars are within 5 mins walk. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we would definately stay here again. If you do stay here ring the bell on the bar for service or you will be waiting 15mins like we were because we didn't know you had to press it!!!!!!!!!!! There is a lovely indian restaurant about 7 mins walk along the promanade which does the most wonderful indian food we have ever had!! We ate out a couple of times but generally the hotel food was nice. We had a lovely stay in this hotel, the maids cleaned daily and there were fresh sheets and towels daily too.

"Excellent location"
Spent a week here & was impressed by the location of the hotel in relation to the beach & nearby restaurants/bars/shops etc. The hotel was clean and most staff reasonably friendly. We were B&B only and were very unimpressed with the basic continental breakfast. (Glad we were not having dinners trhere!) We were lucky, as some of the rooms at higher levels have rooms with good size balconies overlooking the sea - we were on floor 9. Another attraction was being near the promenade and within comfortable walking distance of Villamoura (about 20 minutes walk). There is also a bus terminal nearby from where it is possible to travel to locations throughout Portugal. We used this several times to visit places such as Faro and Albufeira. All in all it was a good value enjoyable holiday - and the sun shone everyday!
