"Fun design - comfortable"
It's pretty hard to go wrong with the B Hotel. The location puts you just a few Metro stops away from the center of the action (which is a good distance to be!). More interestingly, the hotel offers a truly unique design perspective. We uncovered a number of refreshingly unusual elements during our short stay. Worth checking out and booking if you've found a rate that works for you.

"Hip hotel."
B-Hotel was decent .. Ok location, easy to find, and easy to tell a cab driver where it was. It was hip without being painful. Loved the room, and the service, while still Spanish, was better than other hotels I've stayed at in Barcelona. (maybe because the girl I delt with the most was German.) Did it make my trip special ... no, Outside the room itself, a Chic'er copy of the Hilton in Athens, ... the so so attitude of the staff really kept you on edge as to what you might have to deal with if you really needed them ... Lucky for us I didnt. This being my 8th trip to Barcelona all I needed was a place to lay my head ... The room more than delivered there. Everything worked and did it in a modernist .. cool . way ... So maybe not the best hotel for first timers, or shoppers .. but good if you love the city ... like design, and know what you are doing in Barcelona.

"A really good hotel!"
My husband and i are just back from the b Hotel,barcelona, we stayed for 3 night and had a really fantastic time
The majority of the reviews written on this hotel i agree with but there are a few that i feel are totally unfair and hence this review
The location of the hotel is very good you are within easy reach of all the major attractions either by a leisurely walk or by the metro (the stop is just opposite the hotel) there are various cafes etc along the way to stop for a refreshment if needed !
The noise we didn't find a problem YES there is a very busy road just outside but what do people expect you are in the middle of a city! and the double glazing is very good, i suppose it is what you are used to!
we found the staff very friendly and helpful. we arrived at around 11am to be told that a double room wasn't yet ready but if we wanted to wait till around 1pm then a double room would be available (bearing in mind most hotels in britain don't allow you to check in till 2 or 3pm)
the receptionist took our case and sure enough when we returned at around 12.30 our Double room was ready!
Overall i would recommend this hotel if you like modern deisgn for a reasonable price in a good location !
