"We loved Aix & the Paul Cezanne!"
My riding buddy & I were fortunate enough to take a horseback tour of Provence last fall. We stayed at the Paul Cezanne after the ride & felt very safe & comfortable. The staff spoke English & were quite kind & helpful. Breakfast served in a lovely warm, yellow space. Our room was spacious & quiet. It had a huge bathtub that we greatly appreciated after 6 days on the trail! Central location- 1/2 block from train, across the street from rent a car & about 3 blooks to downtown. Parking available. We plan to return next spring. Aix has a fabulous, comforable energy- much different from the edginess of Marseille. Cant wait to do some serious shopping this time!

"Great from the reservation to check out"
The Paul Cezanne, under the friendly eye of the new owner, is a wonderful option in Aix-en-Provence. Less than a block from the train station it is also an easy walk to all of the sights and restaurants of Aix. The rooms are very comfortable, furnished in subdued Provencal fabrics and wall coverings, with new mattresses and linens that were more comfortable than the Westin's highly touted beds we slept in in Paris a few nights later. The hotel provides the free use of a computer, morning newspapers and water and soft drinks in the room. The reception area is very attractive with an honor bar and light snacks and candles welcome guests at the end of the day. Everything about the hotel is immaculate and the staff friendly, helpful and professional. As other reviewers have mentioned the hotel is under new ownership so any reviews written before January would not reflect the changes made. We would highly recommend the Paul Cezanne.
