Hotel City Bell is a newly renovated hotel located in Vinohrady, a peaceful district within easy reach of historic city centre of Prague. The area boasts plenty of local restaurants, bars and coffee shops as well as important tourist attractions such as the Church of St. Ludmila and Vinohrady Theatre.

LOCATION
Hotel City Bell is located in Vinohrady district of Prague, approximately a 5 minute walk from Namesti Miru (Peace Square), where the nearest metro and tram stations are situated.
Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske Namesti), the most famous shopping and entertainment area of Prague, is within a 10-15 minute walking distance of Hotel City Bell. National Museum and Prague State Opera are located here as well.
One of the most important sights within a short walk of Hotel City Bell is Namesti Miru. The square is dominated by Church of Saint Ludmila, which is a Neo-Gothic basilica built between 1888 and 1893. Just opposite the church, the Neo-Renaissance National House of Vinohadry is located. You may also like to visit Vinohadry Theatre, an attractive Art-Nouveau style building where theatre performances take place.

quiet family hotel
The hotel is reachable very easily by public transportation, it's in 5 minutes walking distance to the metro station "Namesti Miru", and there is also a tram stop at the same spot. It's situated in a side-road and therefore very quiet. There are some cheap and good restaurants around. The hotel is very clean, and the stuff is friendly. Our room was _very_ spacious and also absolutely clean. The breakfast was good, a normal continental breakfast. If you want, you can use a computer with internet access for free standing in the lobby. The only thing, our bed was a little bit on the harder side :-) If you have problems with your back, you might wanna search for an alternative. But if you look for a good-valued hotel then we can fully recommend this. |
