"Very good find in Paris"
I had to come to Paris because I am going to study here for a semester but since I didn't have an apartment right away, my husband and I decided to look for a hotel, you know, just for the very first days. We thought we would stay for 2 nights but ended up doing it for 4. We got a pretty nice deal with Expedia for like 50 USD a night, considering the market in Paris, it was a good deal. Later, we came to the conclusion that since they are remodeling the front of the hotel, they gave out that rate to bring in customers. Still, the workers began their business around 9 and finished at 6, just when you aren't in the room. The rooms are a bit old, true, but the beds are OK and the heater works (We were around the 40's), you got a desk, a couch, an armoir and a TV, which at least, gets CNN in English. The bathroom was always clean and warm and our actually came with a tub. The staff was friendly and always willing to try to comunicate in English or other languages depending ont he customers. The only thing I didn't like is that they charge you for the wireless and I mean, big charge, like 5 euros for an hour (6.5 USD for an hour), so you are better in a cyber cafe. Still, I recommend it a lot, and it is absolutely well located, a block and a half away from the Bonne Nouvelle metro station.
