Hotel Daisy is a family run hotel in Krakow...

Hotel Daisy, was opened in May 2001. At the disposal of our guests we have 16 rooms for up to 40 people. Every room has a bathroom. Hotel is placed in green part of Cracow (Wola Justowska) known for its beautiful surroundings as forest (Las Wolski), rivers (Rudawa, Vistula) and zoo. In spite of the quiet area, Hotel Daisy is situated very closely to old town (centre of the city - 4 km). For our guests there is a parking place, fire and grill place.

In June 2009 We open new part of hotel DAISY. The new hotel will have 3 stars. In new part there will be an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a fitness, Jacuzzi and in the winter an artificial ice rink. A guest from a new part will have entrance to swimming pool and fitness free. There will be 32 rooms in a new part with telephones, deposit box, air-condition, LCD TV, internet connection.

Five of us stayed for 4 nights,from the 29/Sep/2008,to 03/Oct/2008.First problem the hotel where not expecting us,our rooms had been allocated to six other people.We needed to produce our travel documents before our rooms were vacated by the other people,and given to our party.Hotel Daisy is certainly a two star,our room (for two)was on the small size,found if difficult to pass each other. One needed to sit on the box bed to allow the other to pass.The shower was a fair size,but very difficult to get in and out of,shower door was facing the wall,so you needed to slide out sidewards.Never had the bed sheets change over the 4 nights.Older people will find it difficult if and when going in to town,its a fair walk to the bus stop.On the plus side the bus was always on time,and only takes around ten mins into the centre of town.One good point was the breakfast was good for the price,(15pl)and all the coffee or tea you could drink.If you are looking for a cheap holiday,but very basic,the hotel Daisy could be a bet.

E.g.: From reading these reviews, there must be some rooms in this hotel which are vastly different to others! Unfortunately, we must have been given one of the less desirable rooms with electrical sockets hanging off the walls, The tiled floors make it very noisy, especially if there is a stag party of British visitors returning to the hotel in the early hours of the morning! The hotel's best feature is it's dining room. Overall, the most constructive comment we can make about this hotel is that it is cheap!" And another: a basic hotel but very clean with friendly staff. Its 8 mins by taxi and only 16z= £3, the hotel will call one for you too. Breakfast was fine too salad cheese jam etc and again was worth the money. We had no problems and would definately stay again, thanks. And another: "To be quit honest i couldnt tell if it was a bus stop or a hotel. there where tramps all over the floor,and a kid called james kept jumping out of my wardroab wich stunk of his nappies."
