"Damrak hotel is the best"
Damrak hotel was the best in Amsterdam i have stayed in. Been there 4 times now and just back from bein staying with hotel. Is in a very good location. Safe in rooms, smoking rooms. Even though we had originally booked the room for 3 people when we arrived there was 4 and was very easily changed for a 4 bedroom room right at the time! TOP CLASS QUALITY STAFF AND CLASS PLACE TOO STAY! WILL BE BACK!!!!!

"What a hotel."
I have now been to amsterdam 4 times in the past 3 years and everytime we have stayed hear we have booked in this hotel. first of all i think this hotel is excellent and i wouldnt book anywhere else, location is the best and the staff are ultra nice. i have even booked up again for two quad rooms in april.
some of the reviews i read i think they are from rival hotels in the same area, i can honestly say this hotel isnt bad at all. its not the hilton but its not a hostel.. what could also happen is people getting mixed up with damrak hotel inn which is a lower class hotel!!!
