Hotel De Fierlant, completely renovated in December 2004, is located in a quiet area of Brussels, offering the ideal starting point for your daily trips and excursions. You will easily find a place to park your car along the streets or reach the property by public transportation.

"Very nice!"
We loved the hotel. The people were very nice, the rooms modern and well equipped, everything looked neat, and they served a very good breakfast. Although it's not right in downtown, it's not that far either (barely 10 minutes by bus) and it's very close to Gare du Midi (5 euros by taxi). Really good value for the price.-

Although in a somewhat run-down area of Brussels the nearest bus/tram connections to the centre are less than 200 metres away. However my wife and I had no feeling of discomfort walking in the area at night; one or two good restaurants nearby. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Everything was spotless and the rooms serviced very thoroughly each day My only reservations would be the lack of explanatory literature in our room - as to how to operate the rather ancient TV set which did not boast cefax or any UK based channels. Rooms had all the basic amenities though lack of air conditioning might be a problem in hot weahter. there was only one chair in our bedroom. The lift was small and broke down briefly- fortunately not when we had to get luggage to the third floor Surprisingly there were no fesh flowers in the comfortable lounge, nor were there any newspapers:. magazines were all in local languages I would be happy to stay in this hotel again and recommend it
