Hotel De La Paix overlooks Lake Geneva and is a short walk from the shopping area and the old town. Opened in 1865, this distinguished five-star hotel which has more than 100 years of tradition, is centrally located on the lake and has incomparable views of Mont-Blanc and the Alps. It is within easy walking distance of the main shopping and business districts of Geneva. There are many sports facilities located nearby.

The rooms vary greatly in size from small to very large. All are traditional in style with original furniture and ornate bathrooms. However, they also vary in their condition, some are fair whilst others are very good. A small percentage have actually been totally refurbished and are in exceptional condition with brand new bathrooms. Generally rooms either overlook the lake or the quiet square at the rear of the hotel.
