"Good value for money"
We stayed at the Gran Atlanta Hotel in August 2005. We booked the hotel via Bancotel for €50 a night. In our view the hotel was very good for this money. Small and a little outdated rooms but clean. The staff was very helpful. The Bancotel rate included a very good buffet breakfast!

"Great hotel, close to shops & san siro stadium. Reccomended."
First things first. My stay at the gran atlanta hotel in november 2006 was excellent ! I have stayed in many 3* & 4* hotels in europe & found this to be great value for money. Despite what other reviews may have commented on, i would definitely recommend this hotel. I spent most of the day touring madrid, & used the mini bar facilities in the evening, rather than visit the many bars in the vicinity. (The prices were very reasonable & included champagne.) The hotel is not centrally located but is close to the san siro stadium which is very handy if your stay includes watching Real Madrid FC. The breakfast on offer was very good & plentiful. The foyer is very glam looking as you enter & i had little problem being understood as one of the receptionists spoke english. I found the room to be clean & spacious & just what i needed for my short stay. There are 3 metro stations nearby to choose from,: Nuevos Ministerios the nearest, takes you directly to the airport in 20 minutes. There are also many shops nearby & at least 2 main shopping streets. This hotel offered me value for money & delivered & if your budget is tight this is a great hotel to stay. 9/10 !

"Gran Atlanta Hotel"
Other than the location , the hotel was much better than some of the reviews I had read, breakfast and room were both very good value. No complaints whatsoever. Stayed 4 nights choice of 3 metro stations, plenty of eating places around the hotel and of course the biggest El Cotes Ingles in Madrid just around the corner. Would stay there again.
