"very nice" heya stayed in hans brinker on a college trip from ireland. after reading the reviews i was dreading the stay but after staying there i would definetly go back again and it just goes to show never believe everything you read. yes its basic but is quite cosy and the staff are very friendly so it was great fun staying there.

"Great people, nice cheap bears and good food" I really don't understand the past three reviews I had a great time. The hostel is for younger people. You would expect that people 30 and older would be able to afford a nice hotel that's the reason why the hotel is focused on students and a younger crouwd who want a cheap place to stay in Amsterdam. I only payed 1.50 for two bears and had great food for a low price. The rooms are not that good but it's cheap and who wants to sleep in Amsterdam. After we came back after a night out we could do some more dancing in de disco downstairs in the hostel. Thumbs up!!!!
