"Great little hotel"
Its an amazing value. You're right next to a metro station, walking distance to so many nice little shops and restaurants. A fabulous flea market. The rooms are a bit snug, but I didn't do much other than sleep in mine.
Paris is a great town, and this is a great way to get a nice hotel, with a very friendly staff, and save afew euros for the museums.

"Great base for exploring Paris"
If travelling by Eurostar, get on the Metro to Porte de Clignancourt, which is only 4 stops away. As you emerge from the Metro station (from the exit marked Rue Letort), McDonalds is immediately to your right – if you face McDonalds straight on, Rue Letort is the road directly to the right of you. There is also a cash point by the station.
The hotel is excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a daily maid service with fresh towels. Rooms are clean and comfortable – our room had a very effective heater. A very nice continental breakfast is available for 5 euros.
There aren’t many restaurants nearby the hotel, but the hotel staff are very helpful in recommending places to eat. There is a nice Italian restaurant further down the same road as the hotel – no 16 Rue Letort. I believe it was called ‘Tour de Pise’.
It is true that gangs of men congregate near the Metro station at night. It can be a little intimidating, but they certainly didn’t give us any trouble. You just need to keep your wits about you in the same way you would in any large town or city in the UK.
The Metro is excellent and buying a pass for the duration of your stay will save you a lot of money. Using the Metro means that all of the sites and attractions are no more than 20 minutes away.

"A Brilliant base to explore paris, at a budget price!"
This hotel was great value as it was clean and modern with friendly and helpful staff. Although the area of paris wasn't the best there was a metro station 50 metres up the road with v easy access to the centre of paris. The rooms were cleaned daily and 24-hour cover at the front desk.

"Lovely, great value for the money"
This hotel was perfect for what I wanted - a budget hotel that was clean & in a great location. The staff was very friendly & spoke decent english. My room was small (about 2.5 ft clearance on both sides and the foot of the double bed) but adequate since it was only me (would have been a squeeze for 2 though, but I think I had one of the smaller rooms). Breakfast at the hotel was 5 euros, but I always went into town and got a crepe from a street vendor instead (highly recommended!).
The location is great, just a 2 minute walk from the metro and in zone 1. The hotel area itself isn't that great but didn't feel unsafe. It's really not walking distance to anything else but the Sacré Coeur, but the 20 minute hike up the hill for that was well worth it and lovely, and then going back down other side of the hill into the Montmarch gives some good dining options. Parking was a pain - a nightmare to find and 20 Euros per day, but that's Paris. The hotel itself now has a red awning (not blue like I saw in pictures), so look for the street numbers to locate it.
Really this hotel was a great choice and I definite will recommend it to friends (and have already).

"Great Hotel"
Very pleasant stay here for 4 nights. Staff all friendly and helpful, breakfast good value for 5 Euros and rooms clean and reasonably sound proof. Interesting area walking towards Sacre Coeur which was within easy reach. Pt de Clignancourt metro just down the road. Metro end of the road a bit seedy at night, but very good value hotel
