"What a gem in the heart of Rome !!!"
I booked this hotel based on the excellent reviews I read on the internet. Some older reviews lamented on the old, dingy rooms on the lower floors, however, all floors appear to be updated now and work was going on in the lobby while we were there. Our room on the 4th floor was very small, but also very clean, modern and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and stylish as well and it sure was nice to turn on the air conditioner after a long day out in the sun. The hotel also had wireless internet in the rooms for the bargain price of 1 euro per hour and a fabulous terrace on the rooftop with lounge chairs AND a great view of the neighbourhood.
The breakfast spread was incredible. Eggs of all sorts, frittata made with cheese and/or ham, fresh lunch meats, fresh fruit, cheese of all sorts, pastries, cakes, and of course cereal and milk (and I just know I am missing something). Excellent selection, excellent presentation and a very friendly staff. The 'bottomless' cappuccino and orange juice freshly squeezed on demand were also very nice touches. You could tell that the hotel goes out of their way to make this one of the best (if not THE best) breakfasts in Rome. We didn't pick up our rental car until after our 4 days in Rome were up...and we didn't need it. The hotel was within walking distance from the Vatican, the old historic center (Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc) and Villa Borghese. We took a taxi to the Colosseo early one morning to save time, but walked back after touring the Foro and Palatino.
We absolutely will be returning to this hotel and will make sure our relatives and friends know about this great little gem we found. You will not be disappointed with this hotel!

"Great location"
We found this hotel to be perfect for our 4 day stay in Rome. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed, the air conditioning was lovely to come back to after a busy days sight-seeing, and the breakfast buffet on the roof terrace was a sensational way to start each day.
The best thing for us was the location - easy walking distance to the Vatican, Piazza Navona, and pleanty of shops and restaurants. You could walk to the Colloseum and Forum area, but given the heat we wanted to conserve our energy for when we got there, and it was easy (and fairly cheap) to get the bus there from the nearby Piazza Cavour.

"A superb hotel"
We chose this hotel online after reading other reviews, the average overall rating was very good, i can honestly say in my opinion the overall average should be higher.
Both my wife and myself were impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of rooms was of a very high standard. The breakfast terrace was an absolute delight, what a way to start your day, eating breakfast looking at the Basilica.
I cant recommend this hotel highly enough, its within easy walking distance of St Peters Square and no more than a 25 minute walk to the Pantheon and many other attractions, take a good pair of comfortable walking shoes and enjoy your stay.
