"Don't let first impressions put you off !" Just back from Prague (Jan 05). Arrived at the Koruna and after seeing the immediate vicinity, using the lift and seeing our room we nearly walked out ! The rooms are basic and dated (lovely brown splash effect tiles !) but on closer inspection they are spotless and well heated. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is actually a very old building that is being refurbished. The breakfast is basic but is fresh and plentiful. The staff will arrange your taxis and you can pay them; they will give you a voucher for the driver. The hotel is actually very close to some good bars, restaurants and the main shopping area (Tesco's is 2 mins away !). Would recommend this hotel to others and will use it for future visits.
