I reccomend it
We stayed there in March. After the misunderstanding about the room ( we had booked a twin but were given a double room - anyway, the staff were very helpful and we finally got a twin room) everything util the end of our stay was excellent. Very good connection to the centre. Keep in mnd that the hotel has another name - Reichshof. There are some nice places to eat around the hotel. |

"Great Hotel"
We stayed at the Kunsthoff for 3 days in September, booking on Lastminute. We had a standard room, but were luckily given an appartment room on arrival.
Our room was incredibly spacious, with "sitting" room, separate bedroom, big walk in wardrobe/dressing room and bathroom which had a huge bath - everything you could have wanted! Our room overlooked the courtyard and had large windows that we could open fully. We didnt have any problems with noise and found where we were in the hotel to be quiet. The bed was really comfy and it was all very clean.
Breakfast which was included in the price was tasty with a large choice of hot and cold buffet foods.
I found the staff very helpful and friendly they spoke very good English which was handy as my German is not up to much!!!
The hotel exhibits a range of sculptures and artwork which are found in the lobby, stairwells and breakfast room. It made the place a bit different, more colourful and made the walk to your room a bit more interesting!!
Location is great. Its located a 5 minute walk from the metro and its only a few stops to the centre from here. There is a tram stop just outside the hotel entrance as well. All the sites are very accessible and easy to get to, making the hotel a great base for sightseeing.
I thought that the hotel was fab and would recommend it to anyone going to Vienaa.

"Excellent Value in an expensive city"
I stayed here last Christmas, as part of a tour through Central Europe with my boyfriend and his parents. The hotel itself was clean and modern, the art was certainly novelty! The room was lvoely, we had an economy standard room and did not feel the need to upgrade, the bathroom was clean and bright. Certainly we didn't have a problem with noise, as some reviewers did, so perhaps we were lucky in that respect. The hotel is far from the town, but not so if you use the metro system, and to be honest, we chose to stay a bit further out, but somewhere cheaper. We did not feel the neighbourhood was unsafe at all. The breakfast was very nice, we felt it was of a higher standard than we were expecting from the class of hotel. The only problem we did have was we found it very hard to find from the metro station as we did not know it had the other name 'Reichshof' we had booked at the 'Kunsthof' and spent a good while trying to find the hotel. The other downside was being a bit further out fo town, it was harder to find good places to eat, but they were there if you looked, as well as some nice pubs.
