"Great experience"
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Littre during our honeymoon, and we both agreed that we would stay there again. At least one reviewer on here complained that she didn't think it deserved its 4-star rating, which suggests to me that she hasn't done much travelling to big cities. I have travelled to Paris, New York City, and Rome, and have found that the prices/quality of the rooms have been very similar. Our room at the Littre would be considered on the small side compared to someplace in the South or the Midwest, but compared to the places I've stayed in Rome and NYC for the same price range it was actually a little bigger. The buffet breakfast was good, but if it hadn't been included in the package our travel agent got, then I would have skipped it and gone for something at the nearby patisseries instead. One of the best things about this hotel was its location: it was just a couple of blocks from the Montparnasse-Bienvenue train station, which has connections to quite a few Metro lines, as well as a major hub for the regional rail system. The front desk staff was very busy, but very helpful. They gladly made reservations for the shows we wanted to see, and gave us information on getting to Versailles, among other attractions.

"Travel Agent Approved"
Excellent value for the property - I was very comfortable during my stay, toured the hotel with the sales manager, and enjoyed both the bar and the breakfast buffet in the mornings with my colleagues.
I would recommend to my clients as good value for the money.

"Best kept secret in paris!"
My partner and I have visited annually for several years in May to this charming centrally appointed well kept secret.
Quiet at night so you can sleep well after a great Parisian dinner at some of the best restaurants in Paris a few short minutes away.
The staff are constant ...a great comfort.
Rooms are spacious and well cleaned, fresh fluffy towels each day.
A very good hot and cold breakfast buffet with attentive helpful and charming staff....English speaking!
Email/Internet access for a small charge in the lobby...private!
it deserves its 4* rating.
Oh....and the shopping!!!!!!!!!!!
We can't wait for next May 2008.
