BE WARNED- YOU WILL NEED TO PAY US TO STAY HERE AGAIN!!
awful, hell hole.. Booked a SUPERIOR double room, ended up in a minus 1 star, flea pit, with disgusting bathrooms, overflowing toilets, not cleaned, smelly, musty building next door to hostel!!! This is definately not a hotel!!! more like a brothel style of building. if it was in the UK, the environmental health dept would have closed it down months ago. We are so appalled that are seeking a full refund from our booking agents. We booked our room weeks agao so it was not a chance, last minute booking. The photos on any websites, that are promoting this pit, are totally misleading. The rooms look nothing like photos of them and are dirty and disgusting. You would not put an animal in one of these rooms. Staff were useless and did nothing when we asked to change rooms. Having stayed in hostel type of accommodation all over the world, this is the worst ever!!! Please, please don't stay here!!! You would be crazy to do so . We have just returned from this disgusting place and are HOT-WASHING all of our clothes and even throwing stuff away incase we have picked up any buges, which I'm sure we have. Our skin is still crawling. Definately only a place for BUGS, COCKROACHES and low-life!!! We wwould suggest that the NY environmental health department investigates this place, even trading standards as what is being advertised is not what you receive. Not sure it is legal to offer accomodation in an adjacent building that is not documented against the hotels safety certification. PLEASE CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!!!! REALLY REALLY HORRIBLE!! |

Not So Good
I stayed when this was the Columbus, the location was OK but the rooms need some TLC and a good clean, the TV did not work and the bathroom was always flooded and dirty, I would have to be very desperate to go back here!!!! |

Pretty Cool place
This hostel has no TV in the room. No AC, They don't clean room, one bathroom that is allways busy for one floor, stuff is not good, but it's okay for Russians like me |

filthy dump
disgusting smell everywhere, no air conditioning, dirty bathrooms, poorley soundproof, broken furniture.
useful advice for courageos people who visit this place:
- try to get a room in the building where reception is located!
- wear shoes if you are planning to use the shower!
- minimize time spent in the "hostel"!
- never look out of the window!

awful
staying in columbus studios was the worst expirience ever. dont believe the pictures, its dirty.so dirty, you cant believe it. when i tried to shower in the morning it was terrible. there was just cold water and it was so dirty.
in the night it was hardly possible to sleep, because all the people were loud all night an when someone went on the stairs you became a feeling of a house crashing down.......so my advice, never visit columbus studios |
