we stayed in room 29 and were told it was the very room in which ingrid bergman had slept.never had awink of sleep dont tell my lovely wife.hotel super with food to die for.going back without a doubt/2009.

"Beautiful hotel"
We stayed in the Luna Convento in the first week in September on a half board basis. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful. You have to take into account that it is a former convant - so the rooms are very simple, but this is part of the experience. The views from the restaurant and from our balcony were stunning. The pool area is great for relaxing, snorkeling and for diving off rocks. The food was very good, although by the end of the week we got a bit bored of going to the same place. We would really recommend the hotel.

"Simply Unforgettable"
We had our honeymoon in Italy, but left the best for last! We arrived at Amalfi & stayed at Luna Convento for 3 days. It was the most unforgettable & most romantic place ever. After having the opporunity to travel all over Europe, personally this has to be the most beautiful & breath taking spot on Earth....There is someting mystical & undescriable about this hotel, its view, history, location, & especially the pool guy, he was exceptional!!! We can't wait to visit again! We have recommended this spot to all our loved ones, it will not disappoint those who value beauty!!!

"The Hotel Luna is truly magical."
No other place has drawn us back to it like the Luna. We stayed in 2004, came back in 2005 and are intending returning in 2006 in June. Coming from Australia means we love the sea, but we also love friendliness and feeling like part of the family, when you are so far from home. The food and service is second to none and Peppe keeps the pool so magnificently. The view from the pool to Atrani is entrancing. It is truly a special place in the world, one we wish was closer to home but worth every effort in getting to.
