"Pleasant Surprise" We organised our own holiday with flights from Stansted with Easy jet and had originally booked the Apartments Tivoli through Expedia. We were later informed that Tivoli would be closed and were offered Half Board at the Mare Nostrum as a replacement. We picked up our hire car from Hertz at the airport and proceeded straight to the hotel which was easy to find. Even though we arrived quite early we were allowed to occupy our room straight away. We had been given two adjoining rooms to accomodate two adults and one child. The view wasn't fantastic but we could see the gardens below and the sea out to the right. The food was very good and a good selection was available. The childrens options were especially good and the restaurant clean and pleasant. The staff throughout the hotel were effecient and friendly. The long sandy beach was only two minutes walk from the hotel and in October was fairly quiet but still had plenty of facilities available. Most of the guests staying at the hotel seemed to be either British or Germans and a mixture of couples/families and elderly people although there were a few younger single people/single parents and children. The pool was quite large and although quite cool still pleasant. Every evening entertainment was provided and although geared more for the children it was still good fun and provided a distraction for the younger ones. All in all a very pleasant enjoyable week. Ideal for a late season break.

"Good Value All Rounder" Having read the previous mixed reviews we were a little dubious. When we arrived we were more than pleasantly surprised. We were 2 girlies on a weekend break booked via expedia and had paid £20.00 per night each and were basically going to be clubbing most of the weekend. Hotel transfer from airport is no more than 20 mins. (€10 cab ride). Yes the hotel is a little 80's style but is has a great holiday feel, friendly staff, (apart from miserable bar tenders...) Everything felt clean and there was constantly someone polishing the floors, cleaning toilets blah blah blah... Our room was spacious enough for 2 people and the bathroom clean if not a little tired but perfectly acceptable. The pool area was not crowded with a mixture of old, young, couples and children having fun... We were placed on a B&B basis and the breakfast and dining areas were fine. Lots of choice and no chips for breakfast what a relief... The hotel has a good mix of nationalities leaning mostly towards Italians (which we loved !!). There is a main road to cross to get to the beach but no more busy than any English seaside town. Playa D'en Bossa is a lovely beach with Bora Bora close for you clubbers. This is a must. Ibiza town is 5-10 mins in a cab and Space is walkable...

"Fantastic!!" I got to say there is something wrong with you people who write negative reviews on this superb hotel!! Our 2nd visit to this hotel and it has improved even more if that is possible. Hotel is always clean and tidy, food is superb and a good varied choice, good entertainment from the animacion team and friendly helpfull staff. Air con and tv's in all rooms now as well as a gym and jacuzzi downstairs. Not quite sure what you negative people want from a holiday?? maybe youd be happy if they paid you to go on holiday ??
