Hotel Meritum is located in Prague 6/ Ruzyne, only a 10 minute drive from the Prague Ruzyne Airport, one of the busiest airports in Europe. The nearest public transport stop is Stare Namesti Bus Stop, situated within a 2 minute walk of Hotel Meritum. It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Prague city centre by public transport. Highway D5 which is a part of the European route E50 and runs from Prague via Pilsen into Germany, is also within close proximity of Hotel Meritum.

One of the important sights near Hotel Meritum is Bila Hora (White Mountain), where the Battle of White Mountain took place on November 8, 1620. Just below Bila Hora is the Summerhouse Hvezda, a star-shaped Renaissance building which was built in 1555 upon the order of Ferdinand I. of Tyrol.
