A small hotel near the sea in Voula area…

Located in Voula area between Vouliagmeni and Glyfada, Hotel Miramare is a small hotel which was fully refurbished in 2007. The hotel is easily accessible by bus and tram from the airport and the city centre.

Hotel Miramare is situated on a busy main road and there is a restaurant/coffee shop just under the hotel, so you may experience some street noise.

LOCATION

Hotel Miramare is 22 km away from the centre of Athens, 20 km away from the port of Piraeus and 24 km away from the international airport of Athens. You can find a new tram terminal just 200 meters away from the hotel. There is also a bus station just outside the hotel. Here, you can take the X96 bus directly to the airport and the A2 bus to Athens.

Hotel Miramare is located in Voula area and only 100 meters away from the beach. You can find some restaurants and shops around the hotel. You can also easily reach Glyfada which is famous for its upmarket cafes, well-known restaurants, boutiques and cosmopolitan summer clubs. Here, you can see Glyfada’s shopping district with a collection ranging across specialist and designer stores. If you are a golf lover, you can find the famous golf course of Glyfada, just 3 km away from the hotel.

From the bus stop, you can also take bus number E22 to the Vouliagmeni, which is famous for its beautiful beaches. The Vouliagmeni bay has a number of taverns. Vouliagmeni Lake, which functions as a year-round spa because of its constant and comfortable water temperature, is in close proximity from the hotel.

You can also catch a bus to Cape Sounion which is one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites. Here, you can visit the ruins and see an incredible view of the Aegean Sea. Cape Sounion is renowned for the ruins of the ancient Greek temple of Poseidon, the god of the sea in classical mythology.
