"Well Pleased" We booked the Normandie on the web and found that we received value for money. The hotel is clean, has air-conditioning, is handily placed near the train station for trips out and yet is still only a nice stroll away from the sea. we usded it as a base to visit the Riviera hot spots as well as places inland like Eze, Grasse and Digne-les-Bains. You get what you pay for and the Normandie is an excellent low to mid budget option.

"Very Pleasant" We were very pleased with the Hotel Normandie. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was good. We felf we received good value for the price--about $119 for a triple room, including breakfast.

"Cheap Base in Nice" Certainly value for money, OK it's cheap, but the rooms were well equipped, air conditioned, clean (with towels that were fine!) and included the basic breakfast. Walking distance from the station (but you can't hear the trains!). About a 10-15 minute walk from main shopping area and stony beaches. Great for a cheap base.

"Excellent value for money" We stayed at the Hotel Normandie for 4 nights during the busy August period and found it to be a good tourist class hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome. The staff were helpful and friendly. There are also good reasonably priced restaurants nearby and the train station is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The airport bus also stops there, so no need to use taxis.

"clean and quiet" Located nice and close to the station - so ideal for ovrnights between trains. Rooms basic and small, but clean and quiet.

"Very good price/quality ratio" Our room was clean and warm and regularly serviced. The breakfast was excellent value. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent and very handy for the SNCF and the airport link bus. We both agreed that we would be quite happy to stay here again if we return to Nice. The booking system was simple and I would be pleased to use it to book hotels in other cities
