"Great place to stay and good location" good location , take the train directly to luxembourd station and it is right there, do not waste money foe taxi, good english speaking staff and do not fooled by the breaakfast they give , it is not included in the price - confirm, confirm, confirm. overall a good place and helpful staff(do not need to get help anywhere else)

"Fantastic hotel and good location" Hotel is on the main Bvd St Michel and 1 min from tube station and jardin de Luxembourg. Some rooms like ours are quiet and overlook a private garden. We stayed 27 to 30 April and our room was small but well equipped with shower and air con. Pleasant staff who offered us free champagne and dinner to celebrate our birthday and anniversary ! Very friendly and helpful staff also in the on site Le Luco Bistro which serves good food. Nice walk to the Latin Quartier restaurants, Notre Dame and Pantheon. Bus 38 outside hotel connects to Gare du Nord and five minutes from l'Opentour orange bus stop. Excellent situation away from the center of town but very good connections. Would stay there again!

"Had a great time here!" First a note on the location. The hotel is about 15 minute walk from the Seine and 10 mins from many bars and restaurants around the Odeon. It is also 5 mins from Boulevard Montparnasse and its historical eateries like the Closerie. One major attraction is the nearby Luxembourg Gardens which can be reached in less than a minute's walk. My girlfriend and i often started the morning wandering through there to get panzerottis and gelato on Rue Vavin. Notre-Dame-Des-Champs Metro is a little over 10 mins walking distance, while the RER is opposite the hotel, as is a bus stop, so it has good transport connections. The hotel itself is very pleasant. The walls and windows are very well insulated so you never hear noise from next door or from outside. One great thing about this hotel is that every room is guaranteed a view, either over St Michel and the Luxembourg Gardens or over the Latin Quarter. The building is very pretty, the decor clean and formal and the layout small and simple. The beds are comfortable and the sheets as nice as anywhere, though the pillows could be a bit softer! Our room (402) had controllable air conditioning, letting you choose how the temp of the room. The staff are exceptionally kind & helpful and managed to add an extra night that we had requested, at the same discount price we originally paid. The attached cafe is ok for a coffee or two at night but you'll be better off getting breakfast or lunch elsehwere. There is a good crepe stand just down the street that is inexpensive. i'd definitely stay here again for a number of reasons, it is excellent value for money, is in a nice location, has good standard of room and of service, and a guaranteed parisien view - something not guaranteed elsewhere!

"Really Special Paris Hotel" We arrived early and were so happy to be able to check-in. Nicolas was so very pleasant to us. We had a corner room which was wonderful. We requested a shower and it was easy to get in and out of. We had a desk and chair, 2 twins,small refrigerator,closet, and drawers. We loved the location. The #38 bus picks you up right in front of the hotel. We took a cab from CDG but you could take the RER B if you wanted to although there is no escalator going down the stairs. With luggage this could be tough. Our cab cost us 45 euros. You are about 2 blocks down and 3 up to the Pantheon. Many mornings we grabbed a cappucino and went to the Luxembourg Gardens and enjoyed the wonderful park. Mc Donalds is right across from the entrance and very cheap for a drink. Dinners we took the #38 to St Germain. There are loads of restaurants of all types at very good prices. There is a small corner store across the street from the hotel were you can get fresh fruit, milk soda etc. with the refrigerator this is very handy. We wanted to take a tour to Normandy and Giverney Niolas was so great setting up everything for us. Noutina the night manager was so pleasant to us the morning we went to Normandy. Nothing was too much trouble for these two gentlemen. The hotel was extremely clean and modern. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. This was our 3rd trip to Paris and the best. We wanted to sincerely thank the staff for a wonderful visit.

"Great location, even better hospitality." My wife and I spent two nights here in Feb. We were pleasantly surprised at how close the hotel is to the Luxembourg RER stop. It is within walking distance to the Latin District, and a short subway or cab ride from everything else. Even better was the service from the three different people working behind the desk during our stay. These people took care of us in every way possible. We had a great stay, and will come back to this hotel in the future.
