LOCATION
Hotel Olimpia is situaded offering easy access to the Grand Canal, 100 yards from the Piazzale Roma car park, 500 yards for the train station 10 minutes walk from the pier where all cruise ships arrive and depart.

"Pleasantly Surprised"
We had a pleasant surprise after reading some of the reviews on here. Much to our delight, the room was cozy, clean, quiet and quite large for Italian standards.
Granted we were there during the coldest period in 50 years so not too many tourists were there, but we had a very pleasant stay. Modern bathroom, tacky italian furnishings - to be expected - with a nice courtyard view. |

"We were very pleased"
After reading a couple of negative reviews, we were a little apprehensive, but we needn't have been. Our two rooms were pleasant, well furnished and scrupulously clean. The reception and breakfast staff were unfailingly pleasant, cheerful and helpful and always ready for a joke. Breakfast was ok, but not outstanding - everything else was excellent.
