"Great Hotel"
Stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The room was large with a nice mountain view, new wood furniture and really comfortable beds. The bathroom actually had a bathtub, which is rare for Iceland. The maid service was excellent. The front desk was extremely helpful. We needed to make a call to the US and couldn't figure it out. The girl actually came to our room and helped us put a call through. They then didn't charge us for the call saying that it was OK and we don't need to worry about it. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but apparently it's great, although the breakfast next day was excellent. The hotel has a heated pool, two jacuzzis, a geothermal sauna and a water slide. We used the facilities after a long day of hiking and felt really rejuvenated. Overall great value, extremely friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
